SMART Goals

Budget SMART Goal:
Our goal is to budget this event at $500 or less. We plan to check our budget every two weeks to make sure we are staying on track. We will also make sure to run all purchases by Ms. Zemmol and Mr. Scirarini to ensure we stay in the budget. In addition our plan is to keep a spreadsheet of all purchases to ensure we stay under budget.
Marketing SMART Goal:
Our goal is to develp a marking plan that will attract the greatest amount of undecided GVSU students. The main priority for this evet would be to attract quaility students that already have an HTM interest.
Theme SMART Goal:
Our goal for th theme is to create a welcoming environment wher students will want to come. We want the theme of this event to be fun, but also professional. Our plan is to create a theme that will attract incoming freshman or undecided majors ages 17-21.
Venue SMART Goal:
Our goal is to hold the event at the Allendale Campus. We feel having this event held on the Allendale Campus will attract quality undecided students as most incoming freshmen and undecided students live on the Allendale campus. We want to make coming to this event easy. Our plan is to decide on a location that is generally known by the stuents, but at the same time is "off the beaten path" to ensure we get students who are interested in the HTM program.
Time SMART Goal:
Our goal for the time of the event is to strategically choose a time of day that will attract the greatest amount of quality students. We also plan on choosing a time that ia convenient for faculty and other staff member who will also be attending the event.
Entertainment SMART Goal:
Our goal for entertainment is to show students what they can expect and what the HTM program offers. Our plan is to interview past and present HTM students about their experiences and their success stories in hopes that their stories will inpsire students attending the event.
